Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, emphasized that the celebration of “Union Day” commemorates an important historical event and pivotal moments in the life of our beloved nation, the UAE. This day marks the convergence of the sincere will of the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and his fellow rulers, to sign the union document and the Constitution of the United Arab Emirates.
He further noted that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to celebrate this significant day reflect the wisdom of our leadership and their commitment to deeply instill and reinforce the values of union in the hearts of current and future generations.
