Emirates Gas, a subsidiary of ENOC Group, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone Authority (UAQ FTZ), enabling Emirates Gas to serve as the exclusive provider of comprehensive gas solutions for enterprises within the free trade zone. This agreement represents a significant step in Emirates Gas’ development and supports ENOC Group’s overarching aim to offer dependable energy solutions throughout the UAE.
The agreement was finalized at the headquarters of ENOC Group, attended by Sheikh Mansoor Bin Ibrahim Al Mu’alla, executive director of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation in Umm Al Quwain, along with Hussain Sultan Lootah, acting group CEO of ENOC. The MoU was formally signed by Nader Al Fardan, General Manager of Emirates Gas, and Johnson M. George, General Manager of UAQ Free Trade Zone.
As part of the MoU, Emirates Gas will offer customized gas solutions, which will include centralized systems, tank installations, bulk product supply, cylinder provision, as well as technical and consulting services. Each solution will be created following comprehensive technical and financial assessments along with stringent safety evaluations.
Collaboration
This collaboration sets a foundation for continuous partnership between the two organizations and is anticipated to serve as a reference for similar agreements with other free zones and industrial hubs nationwide. By formalizing this exclusive relationship, the MoU emphasizes the importance of integrated gas supply solutions in enhancing economic growth and operational performance.
