Dr. Ahmed Al-Falasi, the Minister of Sports and Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, praised the unique community initiative “Dubai Molathon,” launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. He emphasized that this initiative embodies a pioneering vision for making sports a way of life and a key component of public health enhancement and quality of life improvement.
He pointed out that the initiative represents a progressive step, aligning with the goals set for the community in 2025, supporting Dubai’s Social Agenda 33, and contributing to Dubai’s Quality of Life Strategy. It offers innovative sports activities within safe and climate-controlled environments, thus encouraging community involvement across various demographics and establishing a culture of physical activity during the summer season.
Dr. Al-Falasi stated, “The ‘Dubai Molathon’ initiative serves as an inspiring model for projects that translate leadership directives into practical programs, enhancing community engagement and broadening the scope of sports as a fundamental element of daily life.”
