The Global Charitable Works Authority, with the support of Dubai Islamic Bank, has launched a new initiative named “With Knowledge We Rise,” aimed at assisting 180 students facing financial difficulties across various educational levels within the country.
Parents of the beneficiaries received checks made out to educational institutions, following careful assessments of their children’s situations and the amounts owed. This initiative is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to bolster the education sector and support students from low-income families, in partnership with other humanitarian collaborators.
In this context, Dr. Khaled Abd al-Wahab al-Khaja, the Secretary-General of the Global Charitable Works Authority, stated, “We value this commendable initiative and appreciate Dubai Islamic Bank’s commitment to supporting charitable work in its various forms. At our organization, we acknowledge this noble contribution which reflects the bank’s unwavering dedication to corporate social responsibility and serving all residents of our nation.”
He added, “This blessed initiative serves not only as financial support but also as a message of hope to our students, assuring them that there are individuals standing by their side as they continue their educational journeys with confidence.”
