UAE Sends Medical Supplies and Medications to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has dispatched convoys of medicines and medical supplies to Gaza, aiming to assist the overwhelmed healthcare system. These supplies were handed over to the World Health Organization amid a critical shortage of medical resources.

On this day, the UAE coordinated with the World Health Organization to send 22 trucks filled with essential medical supplies to bolster the healthcare sector and meet the basic needs of operating hospitals within Gaza.

The UAE continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people, affirming its unwavering commitment to humanitarian principles and its steadfast approach to stand by neighboring nations during times of crisis.

The UAE has maintained its humanitarian operations aimed at assisting the Palestinian people in Gaza. Today, it carried out the 60th airdrop of aid as part of the “Birds of Goodness” initiative under “Brave Knight 3,” in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with participation from France, Germany, and Italy.

These operations are designed to deliver relief supplies to areas suffering from restricted ground access due to the current field conditions. Each airdrop carries a variety of food and urgent humanitarian supplies.

As a result, the total amount of air-dropped aid has exceeded 3,807 tons, which includes diverse food and relief items directed to support the Palestinian brothers in the most affected regions.
