The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza. Today, a significant milestone was reached with the completion of the 60th air drop of aid as part of the “Good Birds” operation, which aligns with the “Brave Knight 3” initiative. This mission was executed in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, alongside participation from France, Germany, and Italy.
The purpose of these operations is to deliver relief supplies to areas that are facing challenges in ground access due to the current on-ground conditions. Each air drop is equipped with various essential food items and urgent humanitarian supplies.
To date, the total amount of aid delivered via air has surpassed 3,807 tons, consisting of a wide range of food and relief goods intended to assist the Palestinian communities most affected by the crisis.
Additionally, the UAE has dispatched 22 trucks of medical aid today, containing medicines and medical supplies, in coordination with the World Health Organization. This assistance aims to bolster the healthcare sector and meet the fundamental needs of operational hospitals in Gaza.
The United Arab Emirates remains steadfast in its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to humanitarian principles and its long-standing policy of standing by its brotherly nations during times of crisis.
