Eighth Emirati Aid Ship Arrives at Al-Arish Port for Gaza Relief

Yesterday, the eighth aid ship from the UAE, named “Khalifa Humanitarian Ship,” arrived at the Egyptian port of Al-Arish as part of operation “Gallant Knight 3,” preparing for its entry into the Gaza Strip. This initiative underscores the ongoing humanitarian support from the UAE to the Palestinian people.

A welcoming delegation, including representatives from humanitarian and charitable organizations, as well as His Excellency Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent, and several Egyptian officials, greeted the ship.

The arrival of the “Khalifa Humanitarian Ship” reaffirms the UAE’s unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian relief to the Palestinian community, especially given the escalating humanitarian challenges faced by the region.

The vessel departed from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi carrying 7,166 tons of humanitarian aid, which encompasses food supplies, medical equipment, health items, relief materials, dates, and shelter necessities, aimed at addressing the needs of Palestinians in Gaza.

The cargo includes 4,372 tons of food supplies, 1,433 tons of shelter materials, 860 tons of medical supplies, and 501 tons of health items, bringing the total aid sent to Gaza to over 80,000 tons.

This ship’s dispatch is part of a continuous series of UAE initiatives aimed at delivering urgent support to the Palestinian people, reflecting a steadfast humanitarian approach in advocating for just causes and alleviating the impacts of crises in the region.
