With under 100 days remaining until the return of the Dubai T100 triathlon, renowned endurance athlete Ghani Souleymane is embarking on an extraordinary mission: to complete 100 consecutive 100km triathlons over the course of 100 days, with his final race set for November 16 at the Dubai T100.
Beginning Friday at Kite Beach, Souleymane’s journey will double as an official Guinness World Record attempt and aims to generate funds for children impacted by conflict. Each triathlon will be structured according to the official T100 format, consisting of a 2km swim, 80km bike ride, and 18km run, totaling an impressive 10,000km across the 100 days.
“This challenge extends beyond sports,” stated Souleymane, who previously accomplished 30 ultramarathons in 30 days (in 2020) and 30 Ironmans in the same time frame (in 2023). “It’s about demonstrating what can be achieved when you wholeheartedly commit to a cause and leveraging that effort to aid children who have suffered immensely.”
Dubai T100 Set for November Comeback
Supported by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), the Dubai T100 is part of the T100 Triathlon World Tour and has rapidly gained popularity as one of the fastest-growing events in the sport. This multi-day festival, combining elite competition with community engagement, will be held from November 13 to 16 against the spectacular backdrop of Dubai’s skyline.
The T100 weekend coincides with the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an annual initiative encouraging residents to engage in 30 minutes of physical activity daily for an entire month.

PTO Secures Series C Funding
Recently, the PTO announced the successful closure of a Series C funding round led by SURJ Sports Investment, with investments from Sir Michael Moritz, Cordillera, and Verance Capital. The funds will be used to enhance the global reach of the T100 and innovate new formats like the Music Run and Corporate Relay, with a significant focus on MENA region development.
“As we expand globally, our commitment to making triathlon accessible to everyone has never been stronger,” remarked PTO CEO Sam Renouf. “Ghani’s 100 x 100km challenge embodies the essence of the T100 – high-level competition that inspires both community and purpose.”
