A 3.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the United Arab Emirates in the early morning hours on August 8, 2025, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
According to the NCM, the earthquake took place at 12:00 a.m. local time in Al Sila’a, located in Abu Dhabi, and was recorded at a depth of three kilometers.
The tremor was felt lightly by several residents; however, officials noted that there were no reports of damage or significant effects.
