His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, expressed his heartfelt condolences to Japan and its citizens following the passing of Dr. Genshitsu Sen. The Sheikh also extended his sympathies to the deceased’s family, friends, and admirers.
He noted that the late Dr. Sen was a symbol of cultural exchange and appreciation, representing the importance of heritage and its preservation for future generations through his traditional Japanese tea preparation rituals.
Furthermore, His Highness highlighted Dr. Sen’s significant role in enhancing cultural interactions between the UAE and Japan, by introducing the Emirati people to the rich traditions of Japan.
