Programs in Abu Dhabi Specialize in Supporting Students with Determination in Education and Knowledge

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge has announced the implementation of specialized programs aimed at supporting students with determination, in line with its inclusive policy. This initiative ensures that these students can learn alongside their peers across all educational and extracurricular activities.

In a statement released by the department, it was highlighted that the current holiday programs include tailored experiences for this group, such as the Unified Basketball Program. This initiative provides an all-encompassing sports experience that brings together students of all levels under the guidance of specialized coaches, fostering teamwork, learning, and a love for sports through a unified sports model.

Dr. Bashayer Al Matrooshi, the Executive Director of the Talent Development Sector at the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, emphasized that the department has consistently integrated sports activities into its summer programs due to their crucial role in developing students’ personalities and social skills.

Al Matrooshi further noted that this year’s holiday activity program features a remarkable variety, with the launch of several new and unique sports initiatives. Noteworthy among them are the “Multi-Sport” and “Football” programs, scheduled to run from August 11 to 21, and the “Wrestling Camp,” which offers students the chance to learn the fundamentals of this sport using Olympic techniques, continuing until August 25.
