His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Milo Đukanović, the Prime Minister of Montenegro.
The discussions focused on ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations and explore opportunities for joint cooperation across various sectors, including economy, trade, investment, renewable energy, and food security, among others that are vital for supporting shared developmental priorities.
During the meeting, His Highness emphasized the UAE’s commitment to establishing a strong foundation of evolving and prosperous relations with friendly Montenegro and countries in the Balkan region, praising the continuous growth in bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
He also expressed his sincere wishes for Montenegro and its people to continue progressing and thriving.
Sheikh Abdullah had arrived in the capital city, Podgorica, for a working visit, where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Milo Đukanović.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Haijri, Chairman of the Emirates Medicine Foundation, the Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, along with several ministers and senior officials from the Montenegrin government.
