Mohammed bin Rashid: We Desire an Education That Ignites Students’ Curiosity and Aspirations, Fanning the Flames of Passion

His Highness’s Statement

The New Academic Year Brings Energy and Movement Across the UAE

Every School Day is an Opportunity for New Learning and Achievements

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Prime Minister, stated that over one million students are returning to their schools as the new academic year begins. He emphasized that fresh starts are filled with optimism, goodness, and hope, and that the commencement of the school year infuses energy and activity throughout the Emirates.

Addressing students via the platform “X,” His Highness remarked: “Each school day presents a chance to learn something new, achieve different milestones, elevate your minds and aspirations, and move closer to your goals.”

To the educators, he expressed: “You are the foundation of our progress and the agents of change within our schools. We do not seek education that merely fills students with knowledge; instead, we desire an education that ignites their curiosity, fuels ambition, and stirs passion. We wish the UAE continued success and extend our best hopes for an even greater academic year for all students, teachers, and the educational landscape.”

The Ministry of Education has completed all necessary organizational and administrative preparations, including maintenance on 465 schools and the opening of nine new schools in various regions. Additionally, 830 educational staff members have been hired, 10 million textbooks have been printed, and 47,000 computers have been distributed to eligible students.

The ministry also highlighted that 5,560 buses have been outfitted with top specifications to ensure the safety of students.
