Fibrex Contracting Secures Dhs2.6bn Bay Villas Contract from Nakheel

Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a Dhs2.6 billion contract to Fibrex Contracting for the development of Bay Villas at Dubai Islands. This waterfront community will comprise 636 luxurious residences across five unique types, representing one of Nakheel’s most significant residential initiatives to date.

The project expands on Nakheel’s established relationship with Fibrex Contracting, as the two have previously worked together on the District One West project in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City (MBRAMC). Bay Villas will feature a diverse range of upscale homes, including Townhouses, Semi-Detached Villas, Garden Villas, Waterfront Villas, and Beachfront Villas, as well as lifestyle amenities such as three poolhouses, a beach club, landscaped parks, and various leisure options.

Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, stated: “Our collaboration with Fibrex Contracting signifies a crucial step forward for Bay Villas, a landmark initiative that highlights our dedication to shaping the future of Dubai through elevated living spaces. This development aligns with our vision of creating waterfront communities that prioritize wellbeing, luxury, and privacy, while providing residents with a chance to experience the best of island living.”

Perfectly situated along a prime promenade with direct access to the beach, the Beachfront Villas will consist of three-story residences featuring six bedrooms, a show kitchen, a rooftop lounge and terrace, and a designated dining area. Waterfront Villas will offer spacious plots with breathtaking views, while Garden Villas will be enveloped by greenery for a serene retreat. The Semi-Detached Villas are crafted for a contemporary community lifestyle, and Townhouses will be organized in clusters of four to six homes with private gardens.

Drawing from Dubai’s rich cultural heritage, Bay Villas will incorporate traditional architectural elements, showcasing wooden finishes and arabesque designs, while promoting an abundance of natural light and open living areas. Residents will enjoy a resort-style ambiance, complete with a central park, swimming pools, sports courts, children’s playgrounds, and green corridors that provide direct access to the waterfront.

Sufyan S. Saleh, group managing director of Fibrex Contracting, remarked: “Fibrex Contracting is honored to partner with Dubai Holding Real Estate, a prominent and visionary developer renowned for its success in iconic project delivery. We are thrilled to extend our prosperous collaboration to the prestigious Bay Villas project at Dubai Islands. As one of the leading construction firms in the UAE, we are dedicated to completing this flagship development on schedule and maintaining the highest industry standards. With our innovative construction technologies, specialized in-house capabilities, and reliable supply chain network, we are well-positioned to bring this waterfront community to fruition.”
