The First Edition of Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week to Kick Off Next November

Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Private Affairs, the Smart Autonomous Systems Council is organizing the inaugural “Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week” from November 10 to 15, 2025, in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week is part of the emirate’s efforts to shape the future of smart and autonomous system technologies, reinforcing its status as a leading global hub for the development and operation of autonomous systems and smart mobility technologies.

In line with the emirate’s vision and strategic goals to create an integrated innovation-based ecosystem, the event will gather industry experts to discuss the latest technological innovations that contribute to fostering a competitive environment aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the smart mobility sector. This aligns with the overarching aim of improving the quality of life for community members through sustainable mobility.

The Smart Autonomous Systems Council, the organizing body behind the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week, plays a critical role in advancing the smart systems sector by overseeing strategic direction, developing policies and regulations, and encouraging technical investments within this vital sector. This support aims to achieve sustainability, upgrade infrastructure, and stimulate innovation across various terrestrial, maritime, and aerial environments.

The week will spotlight cutting-edge technologies and global experiences, attracting key decision-makers, industry leaders, researchers, and experts to explore opportunities for collaboration and enhance the emirate’s readiness to adopt and implement autonomous systems within its development framework.

The event features several programs, including the opening on November 10 with the “Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Summit,” aimed at sharing insights and discussing strategic directions in the sector, as well as global efforts to enhance the innovation ecosystem in smart transportation.

This summit serves as a leading platform to explore the latest advancements in smart mobility and autonomous systems while providing an opportunity to translate innovative ideas into practice, shape policies, support projects, and leverage available opportunities to outline the future of the sector.

Additionally, the event will host the “Drift X” exhibition, showcasing premier solutions in smart and autonomous systems across land, sea, and air, alongside their applications in robotics, held from November 10 to 12, 2025.

As part of this week’s activities, Khalifa University of Science and Technology will organize the “Asia-Pacific Robotics Cup 2025” at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi between November 10 and 15, attracting elite global teams for competition in AI-driven autonomous robot races, marking the first such event in North Africa and the Middle East.

The “Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week 2025” will conclude with the second edition of the “Abu Dhabi Autonomous and Unmanned Racing League” at Yas Marina Circuit, highlighting the future of the smart mobility sector.
