Mohammed Al Shahi: Residents Opt for Ready Homes Instead of Land Grants in Project

The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Foundation has announced that waiting lists for obtaining a loan for ready homes in the “Al Khawaneej Residential Complex” have reached zero. This milestone signifies a significant advancement in the housing system within Dubai. Residents can now receive their completed homes within a maximum of just seven working days.

Mohammed Al Shahi, the acting Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Foundation, stated that the application process for ready home loans is accessible via the “Emarati Platform” and the “Dubai Now App.” These platforms allow residents to easily select their desired type of home and specify their geographical location.
The Al Khawaneej Residential Complex is the largest project undertaken by the foundation, consisting of 1,050 housing units completed in a record time of less than two years. The project has been constructed to the highest building standards and quality benchmarks, aligning with Dubai’s commitment to sustainability and the use of environmentally friendly construction materials, making it a model for modern sustainable living.

The project features a diverse range of residential units tailored to meet the needs of local families, including townhouses, standalone villas, and duplex villas. Additionally, it includes comprehensive service and recreational facilities such as a mosque, a shopping complex, a childcare center, bike paths, and green parks, creating an ideal environment for family living.

Al Shahi noted that 70% of the residential units in the project have already been allocated. Several locals have chosen to exchange previously granted land for ready homes within this project due to the high quality and comprehensive services they offer. He emphasized that this trend helps preserve land resources in line with Dubai’s Urban Plan 2040.

Al Shahi affirmed that the foundation provides a two-year warranty on all homes, along with continuous maintenance services available around the clock. This is to ensure residents’ comfort and the sustainability of the facilities. He also highlighted that the prices of residential units provided by the foundation are competitive compared to the local market.

Beneficiaries now have the option to choose homes that fit their needs and financial capabilities, all within a framework of transparency and flexibility that the foundation strives to maintain to support residential and social stability in Dubai.
