In a remarkable medical achievement that showcases the efficiency of emergency response systems, the medical team at Fujairah Hospital, part of the Emirates Health Services, successfully saved the life of a patient who experienced a sudden cardiac arrest lasting approximately 40 minutes due to an acute heart attack, necessitating her urgent transfer to the hospital’s emergency department.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Khudaim, the director of Fujairah Hospital, affirmed that this achievement reflects the competence of the hospital’s medical staff and their ability to manage complex cases under critical conditions.
In addition, Dr. Thaer Khazim, head of the cardiology department at Fujairah Hospital, pointed out that immediate coordination among medical teams was crucial in saving the patient’s life, adding, “Thanks to rapid response and collaborative efforts, we were able to rescue the patient despite the prolonged cardiac arrest, which significantly contributed to the success of the treatment.”
