The Fujairah Police General Command has announced its full readiness to welcome the upcoming academic year 2025-2026. This initiative aligns with the strategic goals of the Ministry of Interior and the Fujairah Police aimed at ensuring safe mobility on roads through the use of advanced traffic systems and enhancing traffic awareness and culture among all community members.
Major General Dr. Ali Rashid Bin Awash Al-Yamahi, Director General of Police Operations, emphasized the commitment to creating a safe and incident-free school environment, noting that the safety of students is a top priority for Fujairah Police. He explained that the preparations for this year included organizing awareness seminars for school bus drivers and supervisors.
Additionally, Brigadier Saleh Mohammed Al-Zanahani, Director of Traffic and Patrols, reported that the preparations also involved increasing the presence of traffic patrols and enforcement units near schools.
This includes monitoring both main and side roads, ensuring the readiness of warning signs around schools to prevent accidents and maintain smooth traffic flow.
