Vietnamese authorities are in the process of evacuating over 300,000 individuals as they prepare for the impending arrival of Typhoon “Kujik”. The storm is anticipated to hit the eastern coast of Vietnam tomorrow. According to relevant officials, more than 325,500 people across five coastal provinces will be relocated to schools and public buildings that have been converted into temporary shelters.
The disaster management service from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued a warning regarding the extremely hazardous conditions. They emphasized that there are no guarantees of safety for any vessels or structures, including tourist and fishing boats, as well as aquaculture facilities.
