Valu Introduces Shop’it Marketplace in App to Enhance Shopping Experience

Adham Ehab, product lead at Valu

Valu, a financial technology platform serving the MENA area, has introduced the Shop’it marketplace within its Valu App, streamlining the online shopping experience into a single interface. This development supersedes the previous standalone website and offers users a high-end, app-centric way to shop while also earning cashback, emphasizing Valu’s commitment to providing more efficient, rewarding, and accessible shopping options.

With the Shop’it feature, users can explore and purchase an extensive range of products from both local and international brands such as Amazon, 2B, Black Circles, Way Up Sports, B.Tech, and more—all directly available through the Valu app. This integrated experience removes the hassle of navigating multiple websites, allowing users to complete purchases on partner platforms using any payment method while earning cashback on qualified transactions. The cashback is deposited into the Valu Cashback Wallet and can be utilized for future purchases.

Shop’it also provides unique in-app discounts and promotions that are not available elsewhere. Customers can take advantage of existing vendor deals across all payment types, gain extra perks for selecting Valu as their payment method, and enjoy cashback incentives, making the app a comprehensive solution for everyday shopping needs.

The newly launched marketplace utilizes data capabilities to offer personalized recommendations and customized deals, ensuring that users receive a relevant and engaging shopping experience every time they use the app.

Adham Ehab expressed, “This reintroduction marks a significant advancement in how we provide value to our users. By integrating Shop’it within the Valu app, we are establishing a cohesive and user-friendly shopping environment that allows users to explore, browse, and access exclusive deals all in one place, with a smooth end-to-end shopping experience to follow. Whether purchasing fashion items, upgrading technology, or buying essential items, Shop’it offers a more intelligent, customized, and rewarding shopping journey. This change not only improves convenience but also ensures competitive pricing, reinforcing customer engagement with Valu and encouraging stronger loyalty.”

Valu noted that this launch is part of a larger initiative to broaden its lifestyle and fintech ecosystem, with ongoing collaborations with other brands and feature upgrades aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for modern consumers.
