The “Amir” service, a dedicated channel by the Al Ain Municipality aimed at facilitating communication with senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, has recorded over 34,000 calls since its launch in 2022 through the first half of this year.
This service is part of Al Ain Municipality’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, providing high-quality social and human services that leverage communication technologies to meet the needs of all community members, particularly priority groups.
Mohammad Harb Al Katbi, Director of Electronic Services and Communication at Al Ain Municipality, emphasized that the Amir service is designed to offer a direct and rapid communication channel with the community. It focuses on providing support and responding to residents’ inquiries, prioritizing seniors and individuals with disabilities. This initiative reflects the municipality’s dedication to supporting all community sectors, enhancing and expediting the service delivery process remotely, thus emphasizing the human aspect of community service.
Customer satisfaction has reached 100%, with the “Amir” service integrated into a broader digital transformation strategy undertaken by Al Ain Municipality. This initiative aims to provide smart and comprehensive services tailored to the demands of residents, ultimately improving the quality of life in the city.
