The Dubai Police General Headquarters has signed a memorandum of understanding with Millennium School, a branch of GEMS Wellington Academy. The aim of this collaboration is to enhance cooperation and integration in educational fields and to exchange experiences related to developmental and academic plans, ultimately improving education quality and instilling values of security and safety among students.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Dubai Police by Brigadier Badran Saeed Al Shamsi, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academics and Training, and General Supervisor of Safe School programs, while the head of Millennium School, Ambika Gulati, represented the educational institution.
The memorandum outlines the development of joint programs and activities in education and learning, preparation of operational and developmental plans, activation of parental involvement in the educational process, and an exchange of expertise in modern teaching strategies. It also emphasizes welfare, security, and safety programs, along with the integration of individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, the Dubai Police will hold awareness seminars for students covering various safety aspects and will provide opportunities for community engagement to enhance understanding of local culture.
Brigadier Al Shamsi emphasized that this memorandum reflects the Dubai Police’s vision to support educational institutions and foster a secure school environment that enhances students’ quality of life. He stated, “Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen the culture of security and safety among students while sharing best academic practices.”
