Heathrow Airport announced on Monday the closure and evacuation of one of its four passenger terminals as emergency services respond to an “incident.”
The airport communicated via social media, urging travelers not to proceed to Terminal 4, as staff are on site assisting passengers. Further updates will be provided as soon as possible, and all other terminals are operating as usual.
Heathrow is recognized as one of the busiest airports in Europe.
