Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, visited the headquarters of Dubai Civil Defence. During the visit, he emphasized the need to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced technologies to establish a proactive and sustainable civil defense system that ensures the highest levels of protection for the community.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Sheikh Hamdan remarked, “During my visit to the Dubai Civil Defence Headquarters, I reviewed the operational strategies aimed at ensuring the safety of lives and safeguarding property according to the highest global performance standards. Our vision is to position Dubai as a leader in civil defense services worldwide. We have tasked the Executive Council of Dubai to oversee practical steps to achieve this strategic goal. Furthermore, we have directed the swift implementation of AI systems, robotics, and cutting-edge technologies to build a proactive and sustainable civil defense system that guarantees optimal safety for our community.”
He also expressed pride in the civil defense team and firefighters, highlighting their sacrifices as a testament to their commitment and responsibility. He acknowledged their international initiatives that reflect Dubai’s role as an active partner in shaping the future of security and safety sectors.
