3,998 Construction Permits Issued in Ras Al Khaimah Since Early 2025

The construction sector in Ras Al Khaimah continues to demonstrate robust growth this year, as the municipality reported the issuance of 3,998 building permits since the start of the year. This figure reflects the dynamic urban and economic development taking place in the emirate.

According to statistics from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality published on their official website, the permits issued were categorized as follows: 1,215 permits for new constructions, which included residential projects as well as commercial and investment buildings to meet the demands of economic growth. Additionally, there were modern residential complexes designed to accommodate the rising population and families’ aspirations for contemporary housing, along with the issuance of 1,602 permits for modifications and extensions.

This trend highlights the commitment of both locals and investors to enhance their existing properties and expand them in order to suit modern living requirements or adapt to the increasing commercial and service-related activities within the emirate. Furthermore, there were 881 additional permits granted for various projects, including fences, annexes, warehouses, and service facilities.
