The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department welcomed a delegation from the British Bar Council, aiming to strengthen legal cooperation, share professional expertise, and observe Abu Dhabi’s advanced judicial and legal developments in line with international standards.
The delegation was introduced to a range of digital and smart judicial services that allow lawyers and clients to complete their transactions remotely, including filing lawsuits, submitting briefs, and monitoring cases electronically. This innovation streamlines procedures and saves time and effort for all parties involved.
The discussions also included key experiences and practices in regulating the legal profession and enhancing legal competencies through continuous training and professional development programs, which promote professional values and ensure high levels of transparency and integrity in legal work.
The delegation also explored the advanced services offered by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to foreigners, such as English-language judicial services that meet legal documentation needs for individuals and businesses. These services aim to simplify the documentation process and eliminate language barriers, facilitating easier access for foreign clients.
Additionally, they were informed about the Family Civil Court, the first of its kind in the region, which handles family disputes involving foreigners.
