162 Speakers at the International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers Next October

The Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Sharjah Education Academy held a press conference yesterday at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park to announce the fourth edition of the International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers, set to take place from October 4 to 7.

During the event, it was revealed that there will be 162 speakers from 36 countries, along with 350 participating students, and the inclusion of 11 training sessions.

The conference aims to address the challenges of teaching Arabic and explore ways to enhance it, drawing insights from school environments and successful educational system experiences. It will attract a distinguished array of educators, educational experts, and talented students from the UAE and around the world.

Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, stated, “The International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers reflects our commitment to empower and support the educational workforce.

It aims to enhance educational practices and foster innovation in Arabic language teaching and materials, keeping pace with the rapid changes in the educational landscape. We believe that investing in teachers is the best investment for building generations capable of carrying the message of the Arabic language and preserving it as a strong bridge connecting the past, present, and future.”

Khoulah Al Hosani, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Education Academy, emphasized that the academy is focused on empowering teachers and equipping them with the latest educational practices and advanced technologies that contribute to enhancing their professional skills and broadening their knowledge horizons.

This approach becomes increasingly vital when investing in the development of Arabic language teachers, as they are the cornerstone of preserving cultural identity and enhancing the status of Arabic as a language of science and knowledge.
