The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is set to unveil five innovative features during Expand North Star 2025, the largest event for startups and investors globally, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary from October 12-15 at Dubai Harbour.
This event, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, will include the launch of ScaleX, the Consumer Tech Zone, North Star Green Impact, the Deeptech MEA Summit, and the Digital Assets Forum.
ScaleX aims to highlight 100 rapidly growing technology firms, facilitating connections with potential partners and investors to aid their expansion into the Middle East and other regions.
The Consumer Tech Zone will feature startups focused on areas including augmented and virtual reality, smart health technology, and lifestyle innovations.
North Star Green Impact will showcase startups engaged in clean energy, water technology, sustainable transportation, and the circular economy, in response to the 40 percent increase in climate-tech investments in the Middle East and North Africa during 2023.
The Deeptech MEA Summit will concentrate on topics such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and robotics, while the Digital Assets Forum will gather international experts to explore issues related to digital currencies, tokenized assets, and financial sector risk management.
Returning Programmes at Expand North Star
This year’s lineup features returning signature programmes such as the Supernova Challenge 2.0, boasting a $200,000 prize pool, the Corporate Arena for collaboration between enterprises and startups, and the Tech Transfer Innovation Forum.
<p Platforms aimed at youth, including YouthX Unipreneur and Emaratipreneur, will also be part of the event.
First introduced in 2015, Expand North Star contributes to Dubai’s ambitions as outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), aiming to position the city as a worldwide center for innovation and technology.
