His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, inaugurated the 24th edition of the “Vision” UAE Careers Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre yesterday.

The event welcomed thousands of ambitious Emirati youth, aligning with the UAE’s vision to empower local talents with the necessary skills and opportunities to thrive in a rapidly changing job market. Dr. Al-Awar toured the exhibition, visiting various exhibiting companies from both the private and public sectors.

The “Vision 2025” initiative is organized in close collaboration with several government agencies, with their direct support enhancing the Emiratisation agenda and national workforce development strategies in the UAE.

Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al-Falasi, Vice President of the UAE Human Resources Development Council in Dubai and Director General of Dubai’s Human Resources Department, stated: “Our council’s participation in this significant event highlights its crucial role in establishing effective partnerships with key stakeholders across diverse fields, directing the ambitions of youth towards career paths that meet future demands and support the sustainability of the knowledge economy.”

He further noted that the exhibition represents a strategic and vital platform, positively influencing the council’s initiatives aimed at equipping local talents with the skills necessary to address contemporary challenges, thereby enhancing the alignment of labor market policies amid rapid changes. This aims to prepare a generation of future leaders and innovators, ensuring a brighter and more prosperous future across all sectors.

A Platform for Talent

Amina Al-Sharif, Assistant Vice President for Sustainable Development and Exhibition Management at the Dubai World Trade Centre, mentioned: “This unique professional exhibition serves as a platform that connects exceptional Emirati talents with leading companies in the country, preparing for three days of networking, skill-building, and thought leadership. Participants will have the chance to confront real challenges and take part in various workshops to showcase their skills and experiences to potential employers.”

She added, “This year’s program features an extensive array of competitions aimed at testing skills, fostering innovation, and encouraging entrepreneurship, including initiatives such as the Future Scientists Award, the Young Programmers Challenge, the Red Planet Mission, the Vision Academy, and Future Innovations.”

Additionally, the Next Entrepreneur and Change Makers competitions provide Emiratis with a platform to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial aspirations.

With participation from over 180 exhibitors, this year’s edition is anticipated to be the largest to date. Over the next three days, thousands of Emirati youth will engage directly with recruitment officials, career trainers, industry leaders, and exhibitors from major companies spanning 25 key industries.

They will participate in workshops and skill development activities centered around the core themes of empowerment and leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), in alignment with the UAE’s national development strategy.

The academic forum stands out as a key feature of this year’s exhibition, reinforcing the belief that career paths begin with the right education, linking students with top universities, courses, and scholarship opportunities that meet market demands, thereby helping bridge the gap between education and employment.

The 2025 edition of the program also offers opportunities in emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence and retail, alongside established fields like aviation, logistics, finance, healthcare, and technology. By diversifying career pathways, the Vision Exhibition continues to reflect the evolving economic landscape of the UAE and builds on its record of impact and success.
