Flexjet, a prominent name in premium private aviation, has officially welcomed the Gulfstream G700 into its fleet, enhancing one of the leading collections of large-cabin aircraft globally. As the largest and fastest jet produced by Gulfstream to date, the G700 provides Flexjet Owners with a fresh standard of bold aesthetics, luxury, and performance in the fractional jet ownership sector.
Flexjet Owners can access this in-demand aircraft immediately, bypassing the lengthy wait typically faced by direct purchasers given the aircraft’s limited global availability. The initiative was launched with three of the $96 million jets already in service.
“Staying true to our belief that history rewards the bold, we strive to offer a level of luxury, service, and prestige that remains unmatched by other fractional providers, and the G700 represents this commitment,” remarked Flexjet chairman Kenn Ricci. “In an era where luxury increasingly signifies the ability to enhance one’s time, the G700 perfectly aligns with those seeking to shape their experiences in an effortless and extraordinary manner.”
By the close of 2025, Flexjet plans to expand its fleet to more than 340 aircraft, which will include over 60 large-cabin options, such as Gulfstream G450s, G650s, and the new flagship G700. Each aircraft will feature custom interiors from the prestigious LXi Cabin Collection and be equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi.
“There is an increasing demand for larger aircraft capable of longer flights among various demographics, from Baby Boomers to Generation X and corporate flight departments,” noted Flexjet CEO Michael Silvestro. “With an unmatched presence on the ramp, exceptional size, speed, and wellness-focused cabin features, the G700 is creating significant interest, and our pre-sales reveal it to be the ultra-long-range aircraft that excites the market.”
The G700 boasts a range of 7,750 nautical miles (14,350 km), a cruising speed of 567 knots, and a cabin designed for up to 15 passengers along with a dedicated cabin server. The spacious interior, standing 6 feet 3 inches (1.90 m) high, includes 20 panoramic oval windows and four distinct areas for work, dining, relaxation, and rest. Overnight trips are made more comfortable by private sleeping quarters, lie-flat seats, and convertible seating options.
Passenger comfort is a top priority in the G700’s design. A circadian lighting system minimizes jet lag by aligning the cabin’s illumination with travel schedules, while a cabin altitude of 2,840 feet—approximately 20% lower than competing aircraft—enhances comfort. Moreover, it operates 25% quieter than similar models and is equipped with a Plasma Ionization Clean Air System that refreshes the cabin air every two to three minutes.
The G700 will be part of Flexjet’s Red Label by Flexjet program, which offers Owners the highest level of customization and service in the industry. Each Red Label aircraft comes with a dedicated crew, and cabin servers are specially trained at the Red Label Academy in London to provide bespoke hospitality on every flight. Additionally, the Red Label experience includes curated FXLUXE travel guides and exclusive destination experiences through the Chairman’s Club.
This unveiling coincides with the 30th anniversary of Flexjet, a milestone that also includes securing an $800 million equity investment from a consortium led by L Catterton, an affiliate of LVMH, representing the largest equity investment in private aviation history.
In conclusion, Silvestro stated: “As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we take pride in our accomplishments, but the real thrill lies in recent developments, including the introduction of this impressive aircraft, all contributing to our standing as the premier provider of private jet travel worldwide.”
