Beaumont Nathan, a prominent international art consultancy, has unveiled significant plans for its global advancement. This includes the addition of two key executives and the rollout of new services aimed at offering transparent, long-term assistance to families and private art collectors.
Enhancing Global Footprint
This fall, Beaumont Nathan is officially establishing its presence in the Middle East with Lateefa bin Hamoodah taking on the role of regional advisor from Abu Dhabi. An experienced cultural strategist and arts advocate, Lateefa has been involved in the UAE’s art scene for almost ten years, serving as a supporter of the Louvre Abu Dhabi and holding a position on the Advisory Board of the Art History and Archaeology Department at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
As noted by Managing Partner Stephanie Armstrong, “With the growth in art collecting, the development of institutions, and increasing audience interactions in the region, Lateefa’s role will enhance the expert guidance available to private collectors, families, and institutions seeking to build premier collections.”
Lateefa bin Hamoodah expressed excitement about the evolving Gulf art landscape: “The region is entering a new era filled with opportunities, as both commercial and institutional frameworks evolve, and individuals are increasingly interested in engaging with the arts.”
Additionally, Kara Popowich was welcomed as the director of Global Client Strategy in September, based in New York. With extensive experience at both Christie’s and Sotheby’s, where she recently held the position of Global Head of Client Strategic Initiatives, Popowich will concentrate on supporting Beaumont Nathan’s expanding international clientele.
Introduction of Family Services
In response to evolving market dynamics and the rising significance of intergenerational planning, Beaumont Nathan has launched its Family Services Advisory. This initiative offers independent insights to families with large art collections, aiding them in navigating generational wealth transitions and planning long-term collection strategies.
Founding partner Wentworth Beaumont stated, “Our unique approach combines both curatorial and commercial recommendations, helping to ensure that collections maintain their relevance and value while evolving over time.”
A Commitment to Long-term Guidance
Reflecting on the current art market, founding partner Hugo Nathan remarked, “We are witnessing significant changes in our industry, with the first half of 2025 revealing both challenges and new prospects. The outcomes of recent auctions alongside private market activity indicate that both novice and seasoned collectors are refining their commercial expertise. The market is shifting from speculation toward stability, sustainability, and transparency—qualities we are strategically positioned to support through our expanding operations.”
Wentworth Beaumont added, “As the art market experiences these transformative trends, we find ourselves in a unique position to enhance our independent, customized, and trustworthy client relationships, taking a truly long-term perspective in our engagements across generations.”
This expansion aligns with the recent establishment of Beaumont Nathan’s new partnership structure and the appointments of Emma Lasry, Martha Craig, and Stephanie Armstrong, signaling a period of robust growth for the consultancy.
