Cognita and Nshama Collaborate to Establish Horizon English School in Town Square

Cognita, a global education organization with diverse offerings, has joined forces with Nshama, the developer behind Dubai’s Town Square, to launch a new comprehensive campus of Horizon English School. This facility will cater to students from FS1 through Year 13, expanding the reach of one of Dubai’s premier British curriculum schools and its esteemed reputation to more families within the emirate.

In a ceremony to commemorate the initiative, David Baldwin, CEO of Cognita Middle East, alongside Rashid Al Abbar, GM of Nshama, initiated the construction work at the site for the Horizon English School Town Square campus.

Scheduled to open in August 2027, this school will provide high-quality British education for children ages 3 to 18. It will commence operations with courses from FS1 to Year 8 during its initial school year (2027-2028), with plans to expand to Year 13 in subsequent academic years.

With a history spanning over 35 years, Horizon English School is recognized as one of Dubai’s notable homegrown educational institutions. Its campus in Jumeirah has consistently garnered an ‘Outstanding’ rating from both KHDA and BSO and was honored as the Happiest School in the UAE for the period between 2021 and 2023. The Town Square campus aims to uphold this legacy, maintaining the same high standards in education, student accomplishments, and community engagement.

This all-through campus supports our mission of providing exceptional education. It will be a welcoming environment where children are inspired to grow and thrive. The dynamic and family-oriented nature of Town Square makes it an ideal location for the next chapter of Horizon English School, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming our inaugural students.”

The Horizon English School Town Square will emerge as a significant addition to the community, enhancing the educational framework in the UAE.
