Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has extended an invitation to U.S. President Donald Trump to attend the signing of a Gaza agreement in Egypt once it is finalized.
During a graduation ceremony for new police academy students, El-Sisi emphasized the importance of continued support from President Trump in achieving an agreement concerning Gaza.
He acknowledged that Trump has sent envoys with a clear mandate to work towards ending the conflict in Gaza and expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the U.S. president to bring an end to the hostilities.
El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to actively engage in the Palestinian cause, stating, “We are continuously working to bring the conflict in Gaza to a close.”
Moreover, he asserted that no one can threaten Egypt, highlighting the nation’s success in combating terrorism and assuring that the situation within Egypt is stable.
The president also mentioned that the country is capable of overcoming any challenges and confronting dangers, adding, “We can tackle challenges by unifying the Egyptians, their resilience, and their strength.”
Lastly, El-Sisi noted that Egypt’s economic situation is improving, indicating that things are progressing positively.
