A delegation of AI executives from the United Arab Emirates has concluded its innovative knowledge program, a first of its kind in the region, following an intensive journey that included visits to 13 major technology companies in the United States.
The trip featured over 20 interactive technological demonstrations showcasing the latest in digital innovations, aimed at establishing connections with leading firms and exploring innovative solutions to support national strategies for digital transformation and artificial intelligence. This initiative strengthens the UAE’s position as a global technology hub.
The UAE government delegation, led by Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services, and Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE government, participated in this initiative.
The knowledge tour was organized by the Office of Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications in collaboration with the Dubai Center for AI Applications, with meetings held with representatives from global tech companies.
These sessions included discussions with over 200 representatives from major technology entities and featured insights from significant players such as Google, Meta, OpenAI, Palantir, Nvidia, IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, the US-UAE Business Council, and Cohere.

The 10-day initiative aimed to empower AI executives by providing insights into cutting-edge innovations and technological solutions, identifying future trends among leading companies, sharing global best practices, and building a robust knowledge network with technology experts. This is anticipated to enhance government performance and preparedness for future changes.
Investing in Solutions
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasized that under the guidance of the UAE leadership, the government strives to reinforce its digital leadership on the global stage by staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and fostering strong partnerships with major companies.
The aim is to harness innovative solutions that support national strategies for digital transformation and AI, thereby bolstering the UAE’s status as a global technology center and future industry leader.
He noted that this specialized knowledge trip will bolster governmental efforts in developing and adopting future tech solutions enhanced by AI, motivating local talents to implement the state’s vision in utilizing these solutions to improve governmental services and enhancing collaboration based on knowledge exchange and global best practices.

Engineer Mohammed bin Taliah expressed that the knowledge tour provided significant opportunities to strengthen cooperative ties with major global technology companies and exchange experiences that foster innovation and enhance the quality of government services.
He stated that the visit enabled AI executives to closely observe the latest trends and innovative solutions developed by global firms in the field of artificial intelligence.
Google showcased its latest advancements in AI, outlining the next phase centered around AI agents and the newest developments aimed at independent decision-making, including practical applications on platforms like Google Agent Space and Google Gemini.
During the visit to Palantir, the company’s vision and smart applications were presented, along with strategies for future partnerships based on data, featuring a discussion with Neum Brasky, EVP, and Aki Jain, CEO of Palantir USG, moderated by Said Al Falasi, the executive director of the Dubai Center for AI Applications.
OpenAI offered interactive experiences showcasing a new Emirati version of ChatGPT, sharing its future visions and perspectives on Dubai’s digital transformation. The US-UAE Business Council facilitated discussions on enhancing strategic partnerships and constructive cooperation.
The UAE delegation also explored cutting-edge technologies at Nvidia, learning about graphics processing units and data center infrastructures that support modern AI technologies, as well as Nvidia’s ‘Build Nvidia’ platform that provides real-time video analytics and smart solutions for monitoring factory performance.
During their visit to Amazon, the delegation learned about interactive AI and AI-supported automation, while Deloitte presented best digital practices that contribute to institutional success.
In the concluding phase of the trip, the AI executives visited Microsoft headquarters, where they discussed the future of AI and cybersecurity.
