The Ministry of Interior has successfully extradited two individuals sought by Belgian authorities, following their arrest by the General Command of Dubai Police and the General Command of Sharjah Police, based on a red notice issued by Interpol.
The two apprehended individuals are among Belgium’s most wanted, facing serious charges including international drug trafficking, involvement in an organized crime group, drug-related offenses, and money laundering.
This extradition was facilitated by a judicial ruling and a decision from the Ministry of Justice, reaffirming the country’s commitment to international legal procedures and strengthening partnerships and cooperation with law enforcement agencies worldwide. It underscores the nation’s efforts to combat cross-border organized crime.
