Today, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the “Dubai Entrepreneurs Hub” initiative. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, aimed at unifying efforts to support the ecosystem of startups and small to medium-sized enterprises in the emirate.
He stated that the primary goal is to create the world’s best business environment, paving the way for new generations of entrepreneurs, and supporting 30 startups in their journey to become globally recognized “unicorn” companies, alongside enhancing the regional and international presence of 400 small and medium-sized businesses.
The Sheikh emphasized that Dubai has been a launchpad for numerous global success stories in entrepreneurship, and the city will continue to build upon these achievements to reinforce its status as a global hub for entrepreneurs, in alignment with the objectives of the “Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”
In a post on social media, he remarked: “Today, we have launched the ‘Dubai Entrepreneurs Hub’, a joint initiative by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, which serves as a pioneering platform to unify efforts and strengthen the operational framework for startups and small to medium-sized enterprises in the emirate.”
He further highlighted: “Our aim is to provide the best business environment in the world, facilitate the journey for new generations of entrepreneurs, support the growth of 30 startups into global ‘unicorns’, and enhance the regional and international footprint of 400 small and medium enterprises.”
He concluded: “From Dubai, numerous global success stories in entrepreneurship have emerged, and we are committed to building on these achievements to solidify Dubai’s position as a global capital for entrepreneurs, in line with the goals set forth in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”
