Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Developmental Affairs and Families of Martyrs and President of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, the authority announced yesterday the strategic partners, along with the schedule of events, initiatives, and community experiences for the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025, set to take place from November 17 to 23 in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.
The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority revealed a total of 51 strategic partners from governmental and private sectors, as well as community organizations. Among the key partners are ADNOC as the energy partner, the National Academy for Childhood Development as the vision partner, and PureHealth as the health partner.
This year’s week, themed “Together We Make Abu Dhabi a Family-Friendly Emirate,” emphasizes the importance of community involvement in organizing activities that contribute to creating nurturing environments for children to grow and realize their innate potential, in line with the UAE’s “Year of Community” initiative. Events will shine a light on the necessity of united community efforts and promoting active participation to support children and their families in flourishing.
Participants will collaborate to organize a comprehensive series of events and activities directed at families throughout the week, taking place in public spaces, workplaces, and cultural sites.
The aim of this week is to encourage families to spend enjoyable and beneficial time with their children, enhance the cultural identity and rich heritage of the UAE, and promote the use of technology and artificial intelligence to support real-life interactions among family members and children in their daily lives, rather than replacing these interactions. Additionally, it seeks to provide more family-friendly spaces across the emirate.
Her Excellency Sana bint Mohammed Saheel, Minister of Family and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, stated: “The early years of a child’s life form the solid foundation for the future of our society.
They contribute to building mental health, enhancing adaptability and learning capacities, and improving quality of life and overall health. By prioritizing this crucial stage, Abu Dhabi is making one of the most significant strategic investments any society can undertake.
Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 reinforces this vision, reminding us all that nurturing children and developing their skills and talents is a shared responsibility among families, caregivers, governmental bodies, the private sector, and civil society.”
Dr. Ghoya Al Neyadi, Senior Vice President of Medical Services and Quality of Life at ADNOC, highlighted that the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week serves as an exceptional platform for families, educators, and the community to collaboratively create a supportive environment for children.
She expressed her happiness in partnering with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority on this vital initiative, which underscores ADNOC’s commitment to nurturing future generations, aiming to collaboratively create valuable experiences that help each child to develop their abilities and maximize their potential.
Dr. Mira Al Kaabi, Head of the National Academy for Childhood Development, noted that Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 is a leading strategic platform enabling us to enhance the quality of programs and practices aimed at children and families.
Al Kaabi stated: “As the vision partner, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting families and children through collaboration with relevant authorities, offering specialized workshops for parents that focus on empowering them with positive and practical parenting methods, alongside interactive workshops for children inspired by Emirati identity and national values.”
The early years of a child’s life form the solid foundation for the future of our society.
