Lattifah Bint Mohammed: Dubai as a Key Global Partner in Shaping a Prosperous Future

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, visited GITEX Global 2025 yesterday. This event is recognized as the largest technology and artificial intelligence exhibition worldwide, where she explored the latest technological innovations and digital solutions presented by exhibitors from approximately 180 countries.

She praised the considerable efforts invested in organizing this massive event, which celebrates its 45th edition this year. It continues to affirm its status as a central platform for bringing together leading figures in the technology industry and major organizations globally, paving the way for new opportunities that propel technological advancement for the benefit and progress of humanity.

Her Highness stated, “GITEX Global is a practical demonstration of the leadership’s commitment to embracing technology as a fundamental driver of growth and prosperity. This event reflects Dubai’s pivotal role in fostering partnerships and building bridges of collaboration among the most significant technology creators and developers worldwide.

Furthermore, it enables startups to uncover growth opportunities, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a globally influential partner in shaping a prosperous future where individuals enjoy all aspects of progress and welfare.”

Tour of the Exhibition

Her Highness Sheikh Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured the exhibition, which included several national and international pavilions participating in the event, showcasing over 6,800 technology companies and 2,000 startups from around the world.

During the tour, she was accompanied by Her Excellency Mariam bint Ahmed Al Hamadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Cabinet, and Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, along with Aisha Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai.

The itinerary included a visit to the Cybersecurity Council booth, where she listened to a presentation about the key offerings of the council during this global event, supporting the UAE’s digital transformation efforts while emphasizing the protection of its digital environment.

The presentation also covered the council’s initiatives to enhance cybersecurity on the international stage through partnerships with prominent global entities, as well as major organizations in securing the digital and cyber space, strengthening the UAE’s status as a global hub for innovation and technology while establishing its leading model in protecting digital infrastructures.

Her Highness also visited the Edge Group pavilion, one of the most advanced national technology groups.

She received insights into the innovations, technologies, and advanced services in cybersecurity and defense that the group is showcasing at the exhibition, leveraging Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to enhance the UAE’s position as a leading global center for future industries and creating clear pathways within the sector for the next generation of highly skilled talents.

Sheikha Latifa made it a point to visit several prominent global companies specializing in cybersecurity and digital asset protection, recognizing the significance of this field in ensuring a thriving digital environment and the essential safeguards protecting the information, data, and digital assets in today’s modern life, which serve as the foundation for all vital sectors.

She visited the CrowdStrike booth, one of the largest global companies focused on cybersecurity, threat detection, and mitigation within the digital landscape. Here, she learned about the integrated security solutions provided by the company, which are supported by artificial intelligence.

The tour also included the platform of Recorded Future, a global firm headquartered in Boston, USA, where she received a briefing on the innovative cybersecurity solutions offered by the leading company.

Their services cover a vast spectrum, ranging from traditional risk monitoring to automated solutions that address digital threats, serving over 1,900 companies, institutions, and both private and governmental entities across more than 80 countries worldwide.
