State Ministry for “National” Affairs Showcases 3 Digital Projects

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs will participate in the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition, showcasing its key digital projects and innovative electronic platforms. This participation is part of the ministry’s commitment to advancing the digital transformation within the country and enhancing political engagement and awareness of parliamentary life, in line with the unique characteristics of the national experience. The ministry’s involvement reflects its dedication to enhancing its presence and pivotal role in the development of parliamentary life, grounded in the principles of innovation, transparency, and community interaction. This aligns with the objectives of the “We Are the Emirates 2031” plan, which aims to establish a robust and efficient digital infrastructure, adopt the next generation of advanced technologies, and create a smart and dynamic government capable of anticipating the future and achieving global leadership.

During the exhibition, the ministry will present three key digital initiatives that represent advanced components of its technology development plan. The first is the newly revamped ministry website, designed according to a unified design system and digital accessibility standards, facilitating effective access to digital services and information for all community members, including people of determination and senior citizens, while enhancing transparent communication channels with the public.

Additionally, the ministry will showcase the Smart Communication Platform, which is dedicated to archiving media materials related to parliamentary life and sharing them easily, thereby enhancing institutional communication and transparency. Alongside this, the “Election Voting Kiosk” platform will allow exhibition visitors to experience the voting process as per the mechanisms of the Federal National Council elections in 2023, ensuring the accuracy and transparency of the electoral process and encouraging positive voter participation both domestically and internationally.
