Reports indicate that the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip is set to reopen tomorrow, Thursday, according to Israeli broadcasting authorities.
Earlier on Wednesday, sources informed Reuters that the crossing is expected to allow the passage of individuals starting Thursday, coinciding with the return of an EU monitoring mission to the site. However, the sources did not specify any potential restrictions that may be imposed on those wishing to travel.
Additionally, the Palestinian Authority announced on Wednesday its preparedness to operate the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side.
