5 Million Visitors to the UAE Pavilion at Expo Osaka

The United Arab Emirates Pavilion recently concluded its participation in “Expo 2025 Osaka,” following a six-month journey filled with innovation and cultural exchange. The pavilion welcomed over five million visitors, both physically and virtually, since its inauguration on April 13, 2025.

This makes it one of the most visited international pavilions at the event, attracting 4,930,645 physical visitors, 113,443 online visitors, and over 17,000 virtual attendees through the Expo platform, totaling more than five million visitors. This impressive turnout reflects the pavilion’s significant success and its deep engagement with audiences in Japan and around the world.

The celebration brought together the UAE Pavilion team, youth ambassadors from the UAE and Japan, as well as four key official partners: ADNOC, Pure Health, Space 42, and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi.

The program featured heartfelt speeches by the youth ambassadors and several pavilion leaders, along with a segment highlighting the pavilion’s journey and showcasing its key milestones, values, and messages.

The event also had a poignant moment where the management team shared thank-you letters expressing their deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff for their outstanding efforts throughout the exhibition.

Human Connection

Shihab Al-Fahim, the UAE Ambassador to Japan and the pavilion’s commissioner general, stated, “Our pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka was not just a space for display but a vibrant platform that brought together cultures and ideas, fostering cross-border human dialogue.”

“Our youth ambassadors added a unique touch to the pavilion experience with their warm spirit and inspiring presence, which was solidified through the commitment of our team, our partners’ support, and the shared vision that united us. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our pavilion and joined us on this journey.”

“The spirit of communication and dialogue that defined our participation will serve as a beacon lighting our path beyond Osaka, as we continue to work towards a future where life flourishes in all its forms.”

Throughout “Expo 2025 Osaka,” the UAE Pavilion embodied the theme “From Earth to Ether” through its distinctive architectural design and an interactive experience inspired by the symbolic date palm of Emirati heritage.

Visitors embarked on an immersive journey through inspiring stations, exploring space, healthcare innovation, sustainable technologies, and live cultural performances, all showcasing how the legacy of the UAE inspires its journey toward progress.
