The Red Crescent Authority has introduced a new community initiative titled “Donate from Home,” reflecting its commitment to enhancing humanitarian efforts and making charitable actions more accessible for residents.
This service, currently being implemented at the authority’s center in Ras Al Khaimah, aims to simplify the process of making both monetary and in-kind donations without requiring donors to leave their homes.
According to the authority, this initiative allows for direct outreach to donors at their residences. Donors can now easily make contributions by contacting the authority through the toll-free number (800733) or via WhatsApp, sending their geographic location. A representative from the authority will then come to the donor’s home to collect their contributions, whether they are monetary or material.
The authority emphasized that this service is designed to encourage a culture of giving and strengthen the community’s role in supporting humanitarian causes, particularly for those who are unable to visit donation centers in person.
It urged all community members to engage with the initiative and assist those in need, noting that the opportunity to donate is open to everyone, whether through financial contributions or in-kind supplies that align with the authority’s humanitarian goals.
