Emerge Introduces Innovative Platform to Draw Tech Founders Worldwide to Dubai

Emerge has introduced a fresh platform aimed at establishing Dubai as a prominent global hub for emerging technologies and innovative entrepreneurs.

This initiative, backed by the regulatory framework of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) Free Zone, seeks to link founders and startups with opportunities in rapidly growing sectors such as blockchain, fintech, gaming, e-commerce, and entertainment.

Situated within the Dubai World Trade Centre Free Zone, Emerge functions as a supportive ecosystem focused on founders, providing startups and scale-ups with licensing, company formation, and customized business assistance to expedite their growth.

The platform also offers workspace solutions, investor connections, and access to community networks within Dubai’s innovation ecosystem.

Abdalla Albanna, Vice President of Free Zone Regulatory Operations at Dubai World Trade Centre, stated: “The introduction of Emerge in the DWTC Free Zone enhances our ecosystem by delivering specialized support to tech-focused startups for establishing and scaling their operations. Companies that join our free zone benefit from direct access to DWTC’s annual lineup of premier exhibitions, conferences, and major events, positioning them at the core of Dubai’s dynamic commercial environment. We are dedicated to nurturing innovation and facilitating business development aligned with Dubai’s ambitious D33 Agenda.”

Located in the midst of Dubai’s central business district, the DWTCA Free Zone provides an exceptional setting for entrepreneurs and international firms, accommodating over 2,000 companies across more than 40 sectors. Its LEED-certified Grade A offices at One Central, along with flexible workspace options, create a credible hub for startups aiming to grow.

Emerge’s Objectives and Future Plans

Emerge’s services encompass regulatory and licensing support in critical tech sectors, assistance with business setup, legal and immigration guidance, and market consultancy.

Additionally, it plans to launch industry-specific initiatives, starting with a program focused on gaming, followed by another targeting e-commerce.

“Our mission with Emerge is to eliminate barriers for global founders and provide them with essential regulatory guidance, as well as business and community support from the outset,” said Kokila Alagh, director of Emerge. “Dubai possesses all the resources startups require — and Emerge is dedicated to ensuring a smooth entry process.”
