During a press conference held on the sidelines of the awards ceremony for the ninth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge, His Excellency Mohammed Al Gergawi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Secretary-General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, announced the latest developments for the upcoming edition of the initiative. One of the key updates includes the establishment of a “Waqf for the Arab Reading Challenge” with a funding of 500 million dirhams.
Throughout the conference, His Excellency highlighted that the Arab Reading Challenge has played a significant role in inspiring school students in the field of story writing and authorship, which aligns with a project that was launched in parallel with the ninth edition.
