On Friday afternoon, an Israeli drone conducted an attack targeting the Karam al-Marah neighborhood, located east of the town of Mais al-Jabal in southern Lebanon.
The drone strike, which involved a missile, struck near a destroyed house in the Karam al-Marah area, with no reported injuries, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
Earlier in the day, another Israeli drone strike resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left two others injured when it targeted a vehicle along the road in the town of Tull in southern Lebanon. The Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health issued a statement confirming that “the Israeli aggressor’s strike on a vehicle in Tull, Nabatieh district, led to two fatalities and injuries to two citizens.”
Additionally, an Israeli drone targeted a digger in the city of Khiam in southern Lebanon earlier on Friday, which caused a fire to erupt from the machinery.
It’s important to note that Israel has not adhered to the terms of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, which was initiated on November 27, 2024. Israeli forces continue to conduct demolition and bombing operations, carrying out near-daily airstrikes in southern Lebanon, and still maintain a presence at five border points within Lebanese territory.
