UAE Businessman Halts Construction of 7 Buildings in Dubai Worth 110 Million Dirhams

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized that the family serves as the foundation of society, anchoring the value system, reinforcing national identity, and forming the bedrock of state strength and social cohesion.

The Sheikh noted that since its inception, the UAE has prioritized family welfare, actively working to empower and support families while providing necessary resources for their stability. This commitment ensures a nurturing environment for raising informed generations that uphold their values and actively contribute to the nation’s development.

This statement was made during a reception held by His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah yesterday at his palace in Al Qasimi City, where he met with Her Excellency Sana’a bin Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Community Development, and a group of officials.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the ministry’s strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the status of Emirati families. These initiatives focus on making families the central element in developmental projects, thereby strengthening their resilience and ensuring comprehensive care for all members.

His Highness stressed that nurturing and empowering families is a national priority, given their crucial role in preparing generations to contribute significantly to the ongoing growth and prosperity of the state.

He highlighted Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to implementing initiatives and programs that promote family unity and community stability. Additionally, he praised the efforts of the Ministry of Community Development in uplifting Emirati families, emphasizing the importance of continuing to innovate initiatives that strengthen social fabric and reinforce values of stability and national solidarity.

On her part, Her Excellency Sana’a bin Mohammed Suhail expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi for the stability of Emirati families, noting that this support is fundamental to enhancing social work and achieving strategic objectives.

In a separate event, His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah, attended the merger ceremony of Gulf Cement with Italy’s renowned cement manufacturer, Buzzi Unicem, held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. The ceremony was attended by several accredited ambassadors and senior officials. His Highness remarked that this merger reflects the strength of the private sector in the emirate and reinforces international confidence in its business environment.
