Under the Patronage of the Head of State, Hazzaa Bin Zayed Attends the Graduation Ceremony for the 45th Class of UAE University Students

Prince Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the graduation ceremony for the 45th batch of students from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), which took place yesterday at the university’s campus in Al Ain. This event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem of the UAE, followed by a film showcasing the student journey and their aspirations to contribute to the future. Mr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to the President of the UAE and Chancellor of UAEU, delivered a speech on the occasion. This was followed by a speech from the valedictorian, Hamad Al Aryani, a graduate of the College of Engineering. Students graduating with honors received recognition, and graduates from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences took their medical oath in front of His Highness.

Prince Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates and their families, as well as the university administration, on this achievement, which adds to the university’s prestigious academic reputation. He expressed his wishes for ongoing success as they embark on their academic and professional paths, urging them to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired in service of the nation and to carry the banner of education and innovation to further comprehensive development.

He emphasized that investing in the development of the nation’s minds and capabilities is a cornerstone for ensuring readiness to meet future aspirations. He noted that the graduation of a new class of Emirati students from this prestigious institution reflects the vision of wise leadership and its commitment to preparing a generation armed with knowledge, capable of leading sustainable development and building a competitive knowledge-based economy.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with several officials, guests, parents of graduates, and faculty and administrative members of UAEU.

On this occasion, Mr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh affirmed that the graduation of the 45th cohort represents a continuation of the human development journey initiated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of UAEU, who identified education as the principal foundation for the country’s progress and sustainability. He highlighted that the university continues its national mission to empower generations through knowledge, preparing national competencies to contribute to the comprehensive development of the state.

Additionally, he noted that UAEU today serves as a national platform for creativity and innovation, providing solutions to future challenges in areas such as food and water security, climate action, energy, and artificial intelligence.

He emphasized that, with the support of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, the university is continually enhancing its academic and research systems to remain a leading national model in serving the country and shaping its sustainable future. He congratulated the graduates and their families on this success and wished them further achievements in their academic and professional endeavors.
