In recent months, Kayadu Lohar has found herself at the center of speculation and controversy, following her rise to fame in Tamil cinema. The actress spoke out about the challenges she has faced due to rumors and unfounded allegations surrounding her personal and professional life.
Kayadu’s breakthrough role came earlier this year when she starred in the film “Dragon” alongside Pradeep Ranganathan. However, her newfound fame has been accompanied by significant stress, as she revealed in a candid interview with Behindwoods TV. The emotional toll of public scrutiny has weighed heavily on her, especially in light of recent rumors. “It’s not that easy,” she shared, expressing her difficulty in managing the way people perceive her amidst the gossip.
The actress highlighted that she never expected such intense scrutiny, especially given her lack of experience in the entertainment industry. “Whenever I go to sleep, it’s very hard for me to think that people think something like this about me,” she confessed, noting that this level of judgment was something she could hardly fathom directing at anyone else.
Amidst the rumors, Kayadu emphasized that her intentions have always been positive. She mentioned her commitment to kindness and pursuing her dreams, stating, “I don’t know what I did wrong.” Despite grappling with negative comments and speculation, she is determined not to give up. “I will continue to spread love and be grateful,” she asserted, acknowledging that some level of public scrutiny comes with her profession, yet expressing difficulty in coping with the personal impact of such negativity.
As for the events that sparked the rumors, reports in May indicated that Kayadu was under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in relation to a scam involving TASMAC in Tamil Nadu. Allegations surfaced that individuals linked to the scam had implicated her, with claims that she was paid ₹35 lakh to attend certain parties.
Additionally, in September, a fake social media account falsely attributed a tragic death to her connection with a rally led by actor Vijay during a stampede in Karur. Kayadu promptly dismissed these claims, clarifying that the account was not hers and that she has no connections in Karur.
Looking forward, Kayadu Lohar has several projects in the pipeline across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. Upcoming films include “Idhayam Murali,” “Immortal,” a project with Simbu, as well as “Pallichattambi,” “Funky,” and “Thaaram.” As she navigates the complexities of fame and public perception, her focus remains on her craft and personal growth.
