Ranveer Singh Describes Young Co-Star Sara Arjun as ‘So Precocious’

The trailer for the highly anticipated film “Dhurandhar” was unveiled in Mumbai recently, drawing significant attention to its cast and production team. This film marks the Bollywood debut of 20-year-old Sara Arjun, who has already made waves in the industry with her impressive acting skills.

Ranveer Singh, one of the leads in the film, expressed great admiration for his young co-star. He described Sara as a “child prodigy” and drew a parallel to established Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning. Singh emphasized her exceptional talent and noted that it was a remarkable achievement for her to be selected among numerous candidates for this role.

In addition to praising her audition success, Ranveer acknowledged Sara’s previous work with acclaimed director Mani Ratnam, indicating that she has a wealth of experience despite this being her first Bollywood film. He remarked on her ability to elevate his own performance, showcasing her skill as an actress.

Sara Arjun is best known for her role as the young Nandini in the period film series “Ponniyin Selvan,” where she garnered attention for her performance alongside Aishwarya Rai. Her breakthrough came in 2011 when she starred as Vikram’s daughter in the Tamil movie “Deiva Thirumagal,” earning critical acclaim for her role in the 2014 film “Saivam.”

“Dhurandhar” is being brought to life by director Aditya Dhar, who also co-produces the project alongside Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, with Sara Arjun playing a pivotal role. Music for the film is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, piecing together what promises to be a captivating cinematic experience.

The film is expected to hit theaters on December 5, and with its exciting blend of talent both in front of and behind the camera, anticipation continues to build among fans and critics alike.
