Shagun clarified the nature of their relationship during the discussion, stating, “Rumours thodi hai, sach hai wo toh. Humlog (she and Aman) show pe nahi date karna shuru kiye, show se pehle date kar rahe hain,” which translates to “There are some rumors, but it’s true. We didn’t start dating on the show; we were already dating before.”

The actress further elaborated that she joined Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 after Aman had already been cast. They both agreed to portray siblings, despite their real-life romance, showcasing their professionalism and comfort in their roles. Shagun expressed, “When I got called for Kyunki…he (Aman) was already final for Kyunki…”

Aman Gandhi also shared insights about his future plans during an interview with ETimes. He expressed his preference for an arranged marriage, stating, “At the start of my career, even though I was getting shows and doing work, I didn’t get much recognition as an actor. So I had told my family that the day I get recognition, fame, and money, that’s when I will be ready to settle down.” He went on to affirm that he is now prepared for marriage and his family is currently looking for a suitable match for him.

She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in mass media from the University of Mumbai before venturing into acting, where she has made a mark in various serials, music videos, and short films.
